Acadia Coast (August 2016)

My summer of National Parks ended in Acadia National Park. Being that this was a true vacation, the idea of getting up early did not fill me with warm and cuddly feelings. Never the less, my brother was dead set on catching the sunrise and I agreed to go. This was one of the best decision I made all summer. Being one of the first to see the sunrise in the U.S. was special enough. However the brilliant red orb rising in the East set the pink granite of the coastal cliffs ablaze and this picture is the result. If you haven't been to Acadia, go. GO as soon as you can.
